Hats off to everyone who made this year’s event a huge success! It was a fantastic evening with many new people, positive energy and incredible generosity. We’re thrilled to report very successful live and silent auctions, and a sold-out wine raffle. With around 200 people in attendance, it was certainly a wonderful party! Your support enables us to continue serving the Hampden community and meeting the diverse needs of the neighborhood.
This year, Hats Off to Hampden was at Preston Hall in Mount Vernon. The venue provided ample space for our silent auction, dancing and incredible food. Guests raved over everything The Food Market prepared, from buffalo pickles and bread and butter crusted salmon to a heavenly charcuterie spread. The SweetSide Café followed with delectable desserts and The Wine Source provided a full bar, which kept the drinks flowing all night. And, as always, Libby from the Modest Florist created beautiful floral arrangements to compliment the space and highlight the very best in season.
Before the live auction began, guests heard from several clients and volunteers at the Center. They expressed how essential the Center is to Hampden, and how large of an impact even a small gift can have. We are very grateful that they agreed to share their stories and what the Center means to them.
