This free 16-week, one-hour-per-week class focuses on helping participants to make healthy lifestyle changes. These lifestyle changes have been known to decrease the risk of diseases such as type 2 diabetes, stroke, and heart disease. The program is facilitated by a registered nurse who will help support participants to make positive health changes. Topics include effective ways to lose and maintain weight loss, healthy eating, fitness and exercise, coping skills, problem-solving, and stress management.
